Absolutely worth a stop. Harry's is a historic landmark with burgers featured in Gourmet magazine. True local joint with fantastic burgers and shakes....love the fried clams, as well.

  • Worth the wait for the juiciest burger I've ever had. Service is great. I work at a nursing home where all the residents fondly remember eating at Harry's as a kid. Not sure exactly when it opened, but its been in Colchester, CT for quite some time, and from the what the old-times say, it hasn't changed much. Onion rings, fried clams, crinkly cut fries, and Muckie's natural casing hot dogs are favorites, but burgers reign supreme!

  • I guess you have to grow up with Harry's to appreciate it like the locals do. Nothing wrong with it, I just don't get all the fuss. Stand in line (a big line because they are always busy) to get a hot dog or tiny hamburger. The fries are good. Like I said, there is nothing wrong with it - but it seems like one of those places you go to - because you grew up going there.

  • 1950's style burger shack serves the best cheese burgers in CT. it's always packed with everyone from families to bikers. Highly recommended. You will be hard pressed to find a better burger anywhere in the USA.
