Usually really busy when we get here for brunch. The food is usually somewhat warm, and usually a little tasteless. We only get over here for family gatherings because it's one of the few places that can hold all my family members. The service is a little slow - and sometimes they don't have what you want and tell you it'll be around soon and never shows up. It's not the best dim sum I've had - could improve.
this used to be a good place for dimsum, but recently it took a dive -- with limited availability of items, and often the ones that make it to your table have cooled down to room temperature, which is bad for dumplings/noodles/etc, but worse for fried items that have become cold, stale and tasteless... very sad to see prices increase on top of all that..
Dim sum is on par with anything else available in Boston/Manhattan, but the interior is clean, bright and airy, plus there is no horrendous wait like the other places across the street. Variety is somewhat limited to the basics, but at least the carts come around often and are constantly replenished. My dim sum place of choice in Boston's Chinatown.
Best, most creative dim sum in Chinatown. Excellent range of really fresh dumplings. Clean, modern interior (even if it is underground). Noisy, busy, lots of crowds -- always a good sign in a Chinese tea house. Come early or expect to wait a while!
The $15 cost included several sodas for kids and LOTS of food AND gratuity. This was my first DimSum experience so can't really compare. I will say that it was quite interesting and quite good. Chinatown in Boston a very unique experience. If I lived in the area, I would return tomorrow.
