Expect a long wait but completely worth it! The Chicago Dog is amongst my favorites in the city.

WOW! Giving Hot Doug's a 3 (the max for individual raters) for food is over the top but 2 didn't feel adequate! We had the Chicago Dog (outstanding) and the infamous "duck with Sauternes sausage with foie gras and foie gras mousse" (which rates a 5 all by itself on a 3 point scale. Worth a drive - or in our case a one mile walk each way from Metra. Duck fat fries were very good but not as good as I expected. Highly recommended. GO!
