Excellent food. My favorite mexican restaurant in Houston.

I'm so glad that I can eat as close to authentic Mexican cuisine here in Houston at Hugo's. Their corn bread pudding is to die for and their mixed drinks are always nice. I love whenever I can make it for their Saturday brunch because they have their tres leches that is quite possibly the best tres leches you'll ever eat!

Chef Hugo Ortega serves brilliant and authentic Mexican cuisine to a lively crowd of movers-n-shakers. The ambiance is elegant and upscale, distinguishing it from nearly every other Mexican joint in the city. I usually order an entree with mole sauce and any one of their spectacular margaritas. I've spent many a memorable evenings at Hugo's. Highly recommended for dates, girls night out and special occasions.
