This restaurant is too expensive for the quality of the food it provides. There are other Indian restaurants in the Chicagoland area that provides better food and services in quiet low price ( I would say half the cost I had spend at India house).
I love the food and ambiance here. It really makes you feel like you're in another world, exotic and full of interesting smells and art. Gotta get the Masala Chai, and I love the minced meat dishes. Usually you share a few dishes, but the best time to go is for Sunday Brunches, oh yeah. Also Peshawari naan rocks!
This Indian place is slightly expensive for a dinner, and has a very condescending staff. The server pretty much assumed that being the only Indian for dinner, I won't buy enough food. First I was made to sit in the corner-most spot, the server pretty much tried to complete all my sentences even before I spoke up, and did not serve their complimentary poppadom till I ordered. Food was okay, portions were big, service can be more professional.
Very good and very (too) spicy.
Date night local if you want the risk going for Indian. This place is huge and serves quickly. Large portions will keep you full.
