  • I'm a regular at this restaurant, never had a bad meal. I enjoy my chicken tikka masala with large king fisher beer. They recently been selected 'Best of Boston 2007" and most deserving.I was there last night and had another wonderful meal

  • I just discovered this Indian restaurant. The food is just fabulous. The staff is very friendly. The place looks very nice. I am going to be a regular here.

  • The food is tradtional the way it is cooked back in India. The service is wonderful. Everything is truly fresh tasting with choice of spicyness that you ask your waiter for.

  • How could Samraat not already be in Zagat's? This restaurant won Boston Magazine's "Best of Boston" Indian category in 2007 (the 2008 awards are not out yet). I have been eating here for more than 10 years. It is family run and it shows. I think it is the best Indian restaurant in the Back Bay area and I believe they ran the old Kabob and Kurry Restaurant, that used to be across the street, out of business. Their lamb dishes are amazing!

  • Excellent traditional Indian food, the tadoori baked breads are a must. The fried appetizers can be a bit greasy, but taste amazing. The food is certainly not expensive and taste wonderful. The dining room is interesting and the service is pretty good.
