We were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner, the second in two years. The first year (2010) it was exceptional, food, service, staff. This year however was the complete opposite. The food was less than expected. The service was substandard, understaffed for the amount of guests. A fire alarm went off several times during the dinner, when I approached the manager I was shocked at the response I received from her. I would not recommend this place.
Enjoy a casual lunch in the bar area or linger over dinner in the restaurant. The food is well prepared and never fails to please. The seafood and steak dishes are excellent. This is a great place to relax and have an enjoyable meal.
Nice choices on this menu. You can have a burger or a full meal and the food is always tasty.
A wonderful surprise in Newtown. Food is creative and delicious.
A lovely colonial inn along a classic New England Main street. Two dining rooms offer either a casual and more formal dining experience. Nice sundry menu with offerings to satisfy any palate. Still offers a frugal two-for-one menu on Tues & Thurs evening… finish off with an after dinner drink at the quaint bar downstairs… Overall, a really pleasant dining experience.
