Participate NowVery solid food and service at this Marina institution. It's refreshing to visit a long standing establishment and get away from new openings with potential service and food issues. They have a huge back patio to accommodate more guests when the cozy front room fills up.
We had oysters (very fresh), yellowfin tuna crudo (amazing), prawns (excellent), shortribs (delicious) and Risotto (the best).
Lived up to good reviews. Great food with very nice presentation. Family style plates meant for sharing, but no one else was allowed near my roasted rack of lamb.
I just had my wedding reception at Isa. We invited 60 guests. Start to finish - my experience was totally perfect. Isa's party coordinator worked with me in designing the menu. We settled on three course menu for $45 - three first course, three main and a dessert - total of seven dishes for $45. My guests thought that I spent a fortune! Their patio was perfect for celebration, food an service was great. Every one was impressed. Wow Isa, love you.
I am in love with this place. I have become a regular here and have tries almost all of their dishes. My favorites are - Foie Gras (the largest serving I have ever seen in the whole world! very yummy), Crab Salad - fresh and tasty, Prawns - buttery, lemony and yummy, Scallops - four good size scallops perfectly cooked with corn, fava beans and heavenly mashed potatoes and creamy risotto - perfectly cooked. Great ambiance in the patio, the best.
Liked it the first time. Disappointed the last two times. ?Too expensive & slow service. They need to regroup.
