J Christians is a welcome addition to Wallingford, offering new takes on American fare. The service can be hit or miss. Our favorite time is to go in off hours and eat at the bar. Bar menu is much more eclectic and interesting than regular dinner menu.

Beautifully decorated, the ambiance is fantastic. I ate at the bar and must say the burger was exceptional. The owner came out and chatted with us and treated us as if we were his only customers. What a great place to sit and have a glass of wine while enjoying the beautiful decor. I will definitely try dinner in the upstairs very soon.
