JP's Country Cupboard is a small diner in New Canaan, hidden down a small alleyway that is set back from Elm Street's main storefronts. Our experience with this restaurant is confined to breakfast - and have found that they do a good job in preparing a "diner class" meal at the start of the day. As long as your expectations aren't for haute cuisine - it is what it is - you'll find JP's an extremely affordable alternative to New Canaan's norm.
