  • Flavorful and plentiful food; beautiful presentation; fabulous dim sum; friendly, helpful waiters and relaxing atmosphere. We were all impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. The waiters were close by if you needed anything, but not intrusive. Everything is immaculate with heavy white table cloths and napkins for a more upscale look. It is common to see large Asian family groups at the big round tables. Our go-to Chinese restaurant.

  • If you're looking for dim sum, then this is the place to go. IMO, the food is much better than the over-hyped Fung's Kitchen over at Bellaire. Even dishes that are not dim sum aren't half as bad as one would expect. Their congee is one of the more authentic cantonese-style congees in the Houston area and their "gwai fei" chicken is quite respectable and certainly meets my standard as a Hong Konger.

  • When I first heard of Jade Garden in SugarLand, I didn't think it was any good. Most of my life, I went to China town or Bellaire for asian food. I ate at Jade Garden for the first time one night and it was great! I was very impressed with the quality, quantity and service. Now, I drive across town just to get good Chinese food! I recommend it to all of my friends. They think I'm crazy but what can I say." it's good food at great prices!"
