Surprised how good the Mussels and the Chicken Pot Pie were. Both tasted of fresh cream. I was in there when it wasn't busy so had no service issues - quite friendly actually. Nice atmosphere. Very good location close to Inner Harbor.

They have the best shepherd's pie, the best fish fillets (the fries with this entree are perfectly cooked), and some of the best corned beef. It is very noisy in the evenings, especially when a band is playing.

I have been here for Happy Hour as well as for a late lunch on a Saturday. Both times the wait to be seated and the time to be served my food was not unusually long. Service was pleasant and the food was good, but not what I would consider "top" of the chart.

They have a perfect location in Harbor East, and the accolades end there. They are crowded and have failed to learn how to deal with a busy restaurant. After an hour of waiting for my food, my server was rude to me and told me that I had only waitied a half-hour. Moments later, she informed that she forgot to submit my order. Missed the movie.,..entire night ruined. Fake irish pub with too many customers and too litle servers.

A recent visit left us cold. The host seemed displeased that they were busy and barely grunted a greeting to us. Wait time for appetizers was 30 minutes - a little too long in our opinion. Food was ok - what you'd expect from a pub. With all the new choices in Harbor East, James Joyce would be wise to get a new host and more kitchen staff.
