This is the best Japanese restaurant in Long Island. This restaurant serves great sushi, a lot of them are original ones. "Dad's Favoriate Roll" is my favoriate roll as well. The food is a mixture of fusion Japanese and traditional Japanese food. Kushiyaki (skewered) dishes are their specialty with the original sauce. I also like their katsu-don (port bowl) and curry & rice. The owner chef is very friendly.
I'm not a usual eater of Japanese food, but I was so amazed by the quality and taste of this restaurant that I actually made an account just to review it. I had a few sushi rolls and the Chicken Teriyaki, and both were simply delicious. I really surprised that this restaurant hasn't been rated yet. I highly recommend this place, even if you think you're not into sushi!
They have some very inventive sushi rolls, and their sauce for the meats is very good, however, I was not impressed by their spicy tuna, which had too much mayo, and I disliked that they serve mashed potatoes with teryaki dishes.
Very comtemporary and traditional high end settings, yet VERY generous price! Food is just explended quality with large selection. Real Ceremonial Green Tea Set dessert is only experienced here at almost freebee price!! This Japanese cheff definitely goes an extra mile to satisfy everybody who love food! Teriyaki sauce, Triangle Love Affair Roll have hidden touch. As a first timer, I'm pretty settled here - this is "THE ONE"!! I feel Home.
Great food, great people, and simply an awesome restaurant all together. The sushi in always fresh and the food from the kitchen never fails to satisfy. Great place to bring a date or just for casual dining.
