The food was very good, but a little overpriced. But the most important thing was the help. From the hostess to the waitresses extremely bad service. Believe it or not they were CONDESCENDING. They smiled to your face then did exactly what they wanted to do, not what you wanted or ask for. They treated us like the Seinfeld skit "No Soup For You". but with a smile on their face. Lets put it this way "Accommodating" is not a word in their culture.
Excellent food and nice atmosphere. I went on a quiet night, but I recommend making reservations as I notice the parking lot full on some nights.
Every year since 9/11, I meet a business colleague for dinner during the Holidays to celebrate life as we were on business travel on 9/11. Via Zagats I came across Jeffrey's and decided to try it. We ordered the salmon along w/ mixed green salad - Amazing. Only thing, the portion of salmon was less than expected but the chef accommodated us. The friendly staff, Billy, Chuck and Alex made our celebration spectacular..Would definitely go back!
we sat on the patio. they need to do something about the bugs, being right on marsh area...very annoying. the salads were very good, as was the burger, pasta was average as were the lobster sandwiches. the live music was a great young jazz group which made for a wonderful ambience until the owner got up and screamed elvis and italian songs out of key, much to the dismay of the band and guests thinking he was good instead of the clown he really is
sure miss "Jeffrey" had more class
