This BBQ is ok, but too inconsistent in quality. For that reason I'm not of that same opinion as others as to it's score. Simply said its expensive for what it is.
We tried Jeff's for dinner on a weekday night. Jeff welcomed us, sat us down, and made us feel at home right away. That's where the welcoming ended. A woman came to wait on us, and asked us to walk all the way to the front of the restaurant to order. We walked back and sat down. When our food came, we were told we could walk to the front again to get our utensils. Food was good, but never again.
Their catfish is to die for. It's buttery and just simply melts in your mouth. It's lightly seasoned and breaded, and the only thing wrong with it, is that when you're done that there isn't more. I'd be willing to come back for more of the catfish any day of the week. My only complaint is that whenever I come by it seems like my order placed wrong. I want more food, not less!
basic bar b que is good- but not like the bar b que in the south
Absolutely amazing. Hands down the best barbeque I have ever had. Jeff is not only a likeable guy, but an excellent chef. Treat's ever customer like a long lost friend, charismatic and clearly loves what he does. The food was out of this world amazing, I cannot say enough about this phenominal restaurant.
