The perfect clam shack with outdoor picnic table dinning (some indoor for rain) where everyone is super friendly because everyone is eating a super great meal! This is the place to satisfy craving for any shell fish. We had cold lobster roll packed with tender meat, a clam belly platter that could easily feed two and a side of onion rings, both perfectly fried light golden. They go very easy on the salt. And slaw is easy on mayo - delicious.

I had fish & chips, my wife had a lobster roll and we split some onion rings.
Both were very good. Generous portions, reasonable price.
Will go back when ever we are in the area.
Not fancy, paper plates, order at the window and pick up at another.
Very friendly staff. Family friendly.

Scrap the diet and go for the fried stuff...you just have to here! Quintessential clam shack with a large menu to suit even non-seafood lovers. Had the fried oyster roll. It was sooo fresh with lots of oysters. Great fries and onion rings too. Outdoor and indoor seating. Not on the water.

Located in Old Saybrook, CT A popular hot dog stand. Fried seafood is a little better than average, but basically hamburgers and hot dogs are what this place is about.
