This historic breakfast spot isn't worthy of its fame. Bready, flavorless pancakes are served with generic artificial syrup which is so welded to the table tops, it can't even be wiped off.
it's a combination of good food, pricey, rude, and a montauk experience, alot of food however you do pay for it... go off season and you won't wait on lines...there's not much out there for breakfast that;s worth it...
This place gets by on it's reputation from a long long time ago. The wait is long, the staff is rude and the pancakes are below average. This is the worst place to eat in Montauk...
Huge, yummy omelets and pancakes...a great breakfast stop. Decor is lacking, but the swordfish on the wall with the doll hanging from its mouth makes up for some of it. Friendly, prompt service. Pricier than I expected, but you won't leave hungry.
