Went For a rehersal dinner. Food was pretty good, the room was a little tight for the amount of people, nice decor, service needs a little work.
I was brought here for my birthday. It was okay. I ordered the lamb with butternut squash risotto. It was edible. My lamb chops came out well done when I ordered medium rare. The best part of the meal for me was my friend's potato pancakes, which I ordered a side of and ate that with my new lamb chops. Services was lacking. Overall, ok food. Nothing stand-out or spectacular.
Eating at Jonathan's makes you feel that you are celebrating. The food is very well prepared and placed decoratively on steaming plates. I had a shrimp dish with delicately mango-flavored rice. The specials are extraordinary. Beware of the bread basket; the selections are tantalizing and include onion rolls and corn bread. It is always your birthday at Jonathan's.
Varied menu something to please all. Service has definitely gone downhill especially if waiting on a large party and they are tacking on the tip
American fare. Great Brunch. Nice party rooms. Great service.
