If you want the best Italian Food in all of Las Vegas, JR's is the place to dine. Best meatballs we've ever had even compared to Italy! In fact all the pasta dishes are great, large portions, excellent salads as well. If you are hungry for Pizza, go to JR"s Italian Food just does not get any better than this!

Jr's is possibly the nicest Italian Bar/Restaurant on the West Side of Las Vegas. I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone on a diet. Every dish we've had so far is the quintessential definition of decadence. Lavished with butter, tomato sauce, and the most mouth water ingredients we have yet to try, I would put their menu up against any traditional Italian cuisine in the city, and that includes the strip.

This gem of a hideaway features the best meatballs extant served with a luscious sauce and a side of ricotta. Meant to be an appetizer, but is a perfect lunch. True Italian home cooking in a sports bar that pours Guinness from the tap is a combination seldom seen in "anything goes" Las Vegas. Large portions are the norm.

Such a shame.....food s good and place has potential but the service is HORRIBLE. Whether you are in the dining area or at the bar, you can never get the service you deserve. You can't even get service, period.
You feel like you're more of an inconvenience than welcome, esp with the owners family hovering over the bar.
Has potential but if thinsg don't change this place will tank quickly. Let's hope they notice and make changes fast!!Published February 27, 2009
