We love this place. A very cool, long, skinny restaurant with exposed brick. Sit at the bar (where you can watch the dishwasher and the chef) or enjoy a handful of small tables with candlelight in the rear. The food is fabulous and a must have is the fondue. We take all our guests there for a casual dinner in the city and no one has been disappointed. In fact one of our house guests insisted on going there three nights in a row!
Expect a long wait for a table at this charming, little restaurant with wine bar. There is a small gourmet market in the front, and the restaurant setting in the back is candelit and rustic. Tasty tapas, especially the Red Pepper and Spicy Walnut spreads. The salmon kebabs wrapped in grape leaves was fresh, delicious, and cooked just right. The cheese fondue is fun, but hardened quickly.
A hole in the wall with the best Greek-style food I've ever had, and huge portions, great for sharing!
Sit at the counter/bar for the most intimate meal; you can chat (or not) with the bartender/servers and watch the pours while you eat. Tight seating if you need to wait for a table! Fabulous selection of cheeses, Mediterranean specialties, meats, on small plates - compose your own!
A total hidden gem of a place. Can be quite a romantic place, surprisingly.
