A terrific, traditional French bistro in food and decor. We sat beside a couple from France, who told us Kiki's was best bistro in Chicago. One sour note: the weather was bad, sidewalks were icy, we're older and needed a taxi--but the hostess refused to call one for us, instead cavalierly waving us to a cab stand a block away. So Kiki's was French in one other way: rudeness.

Food was beautifully prepared. The venison was tender and perfectly cooked and I could go back daily for the pear and roquefort salad. The place was not too busy on a cold weeknight, so I had my choice of comfy booths. Service was efficient but not particularly helpful. Definitely worth a return trip.

The best French Bistro I know. Everything you would think of a French Bistro is here. The ambiance is wonderful. Service fantastic. Food incredible. I highly recommend Kiki's to all who love French Bistro food. We go often. Great bar as well.

Great food, interesting wine list. Sauces are up to francophile standards. Waiters can be a little snobby. Best place for a business lunch- no intrusive music/noise level.

My BF took me there Feb. 14 for Valentine's dinner, I was so disappointed with the food, i ordered the lamb and he ordered the duck and both of us were disappointed, and I overheard the lady next to me complaining about her meat was overcooked and tough. The service was superb...but I'm sorry to say I won't recommend or bring our clients and friends to dine there.
