Used to love it... but new menu and staff changes have left the food mediocre and the service slow

Food is average. It has never wowed me but I also have never been disappointed. Service is average - below average. The lunch specials are usually very good and very reasonably priced (Soup and sandwich for around $10)... and the portion is not small. Happy hour is a good time but unless you get there early, plan on standing.

In a word, disappointing. With Capital Grill and Mitchell's right next store, Kona is going to have to step up. A lot. The food was okay, but the service, despite having both a trainee and the server/trainer was terrible. Just getting the water glass filled required a wait and a request - every time. We will not be back.

Big menu lots of choices. Good happy hour deals. Service sometimes can be a little slow but it isn't bad service.
