This is NOT a great sushi restaurant. It's a good restaurant for rolls.

Excellent service and fresh sushi make this establishment a staple for weekly dining. Expect long waits after 6:00PM and cramped seating but well worth it. Arrive at opening.

Great sushi, until recently it was my favorite place; I think Aji 53 takes the cake now.
I have never been disappointed by a roll at Koto. All of the sushi is so fresh tasting, the staff is great and the sake is one of the best I've had. The oyster appetizer is incredible and a must have along with the rainbow #2.
It really is one of the best sushi places around.

I write this review after three years of being a loyal, fanatical customer. Nothing compares to Kotobuki! One roll might be better than the next, but all of them dance in my mouth like a parade. I could make a meal alone of the sautéed oysters and sushi pizza, but to leave without ordering some rolls is sacrilege. My only gripe is that the menu in Hauppauge differs slightly than the menu in Roslyn, and is better, and the wait can be painful.
