We visiited Kumo for the 1st time on a Wed. Aug. 8, 2012. The impressive menu was filled with items of all sorts, neatly arranged in categories. The menu almost had too many offerings. We were there with 2 other couples. The attentive waitress was gracious in offering suggestions for one person who only wanted " cooked" items. Everyone was delighted with their selections and the quick service. The sake was well priced. We plan to return.
This place is a regular lunch stop for me as I work in the area.
The 3 roll lunch special for $12 is hard to beat especially for good sushi. There have been a few times that you can tell the quality suffered but overall a great place. The takeout portions of soup have seemed to have gotten smaller recently but again for a lunch deal including a salad and soup it's hard to beat.
Good luck getting your tea refilled at this mall strip location. The creative rolls and special dishes look better than they taste. Very noisy.
Definitely a place to try out! You'll find many varieties of sushi appetizers and delicious rolls to choose from. The place is very crowded over the weekend, but that's what I love about it. I love to be in the crowd. Only the BEST deserves a big crowd. That's how I know their foods are very tasty and FRESH!!!
Small but pretty. Very friendly service. Not a fan of their roll designs but you can customize whatever you would like and the fish is very fresh!
