Dash away to this zen inspired retreat and enjoy the freshest sushi Queens has to offer. Probably the best Dynamite dish is served here. No wonder the residents consider this a gem of a place.

On my last trip, they forgot half of my order and when I called to complain they were so nonchalant, as if all the time it took me to drive there and back were insignificant. Finally I was able to convince them to deliver the missing food but even that was a 45 minute fiasco and the food arrived cold. The manager told me he would compensate me by throwing in a free roll but when the delivery guy got here he wanted me to pay for it. Awful service!

Found a Manhattan-like restaurant just outside of Flushing that offered my two favorite ethnic cuisines, Japanese and Thai. We had a large party so we ordered the Royal Cruise, plus the special Black Ninja roll and the Firecracker appetizer. Excellent sushi in terms of freshness, preparation and appearance. Also ordered the Pad Thai which was delicious. Prices were Manhattan-like too, but this was a great place to eat. Will visit again.

It is very hard to find a place like Kyoto in Queens. It really is a hidden gem. Without coming here, you would never know a place like this existed in this neighborhood. You should definitely hit this place up for lunch. They have a special Lunch menu for both Japanese & Thai dishes. Its cheap and its more than enough for a meal. Also a must try would be their FRIED ICE CREAM for dessert. Its definitely a restaurant you should try.

Kyoto is my favorite neighborhood restaurant hands down! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent decor and the wait staff is very helpful in helping you choose the right combination of foods to make your meal the most enjoyable possible. I am so thankful to have a place of this caliber so close to home.

great selection of food ranging from inventive items such as the green dragon roll and mini - rainbow tar tar as a pre-course appetizer. the atmosphere is a neighborhood feel with a Manhattan like touch to the design. on the lounge wall is an amazing gold dusted portrait of buddha and music is up-tempo jazz. great place for a date or celebrating a birthday, which i just recently did there..
