Our dinner at L2O was certainly a Michelin 3 star experience: from the warm welcome, the delicious food, the beautiful presentation of the plates to the excellent service. Every plate was a new discovery, and we welcomed them with the necessary "ooh" en "aah"'s. Even the aftershock of the bill couldn't ruin our evening, money well spent!
Two of us dined at L2O for my birthday and my impression is that the experience was more presentation than substance. The food was well prepared but the portions were on the small side and nothing that I would describe as memorable. They also had a very young staff who were all pleasant and helpful but nevertheless seemed somewhat inexperienced considering the venue and cost.
This place never disappoints even with walk-ins. The staff is gracious and unobtrusive but incredibly knowledgable. A definite place to come back to seasonally.
Amazing. Decadent. Delicious. Gorgeous. Fun. What else can I say? L2O blew me away. My fiance and I booked the tatami room to celebrate our engagement, and were treated like super stars the entire time - even walking to and from the restroom, the whole restaurant stopped for us. Chef Laurent Gras knows what he's doing, despite Time Out's grudge against him. L2O is a dinner you don't want to miss
The product is amazing. The composition, rather lacking. For $200 a person things couldve been much better. Wine pairings were Unreal
