I have been here twice while on business in Boston and have enjoyed my experience both times. First time I had the Chicken Piccata and the second time I had a veal dish. Meats were done but not overcooked, and the sauces complemented it perfectly. The surrounding decor of large original artwork was kind of distracting, but the owner's gracious manner had our group hooked. Kind of pricey (about $175 for 5 persons before gratuity) but worth it.
I have been here twice, once with a group and once with a friend. My sister and best friends have also been here on my recommendation. Expensive, I will agree with the other reviewer, but that is more than made up for with the owner (so friendly), decor, staff, location and quality of the food. You will not regret eating here. This is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. Looks small on the outside but is huge on the inside :)
Great service, disturbng artwork. food was good but very pricey. $300 for 4 people. 4 entres, Antipasta $38. Whoa.. 2 bottle of wine (mid level) $45 each.
Should have been no more than $140 or so. Overpriced for sure. Great wait staff. nice owner.
This restaurant was recommended to me. The food was mediocre and the service was slow. We eneded up sitting for at least 30 minutes before putting in our drink orders. Also, I'm not quite sure what kind of art was on the walls but it was a bit disturbing and sexual.
decent family food with adequate atmosphere, more pricey than most north end restaurants, the owner is either wonderful or gets on your nerves. Among touristy north enders one of the better ones. nNote no liquor only wine.
