Love this restaurant! Great food, service and atmosphere. Beautiful especially in the summer where you can sit outside, have cocktails and look at the beach. One of our favorite restaurants!

Delicious food (mussels, oysters, pappardellle with seafood, duck confit, chocolate banana bread pudding, almond and apple cake among the notable entries) in an intimate restaurant by the beach. Friendly, efficient service. Our favorite room, at least in daylight, is in the back with a view of the marsh.

My favorite restaurant. Romantic hideaway by the beach (hence the name)!

My third time here, and by far the best. The apple and bleu cheese salad was awesome. The tomato salad was almost as good. The crab cake with risotto was not cheesey at all. To me this is the real way to make risotto. The crab cake was great too. My grouper was delicious. Add all this with the decor and secluded location, and you have a beautiful dining experience. Afterwards , go across the street to the beach and enjoy the view of the LI Sound.
