I have been to all the NYC restaurants and this does not compare it is good but nothing special. Will bring friends there when in a pinch and nice decor but this is no Per Se or Daniels!

My daughter Gina, and I were here last night for dinner. It was amazing. The chef prepares a white bean spread that we loved to accompany the bread. The best calamari appetizer I have ever had. Our entrees were prepared exactly to our requests. My salmon was cooked perfectly. The ownership spares no expense to the eye of the customer when it comes to the flair of surroundings. Desserts: unbelievable. My new favorite place: La Tavola !

Excellent pasta and appetizers. Nice ambience. Not in a great neighborhood though.

Our favorite discovery of the past year. Exceptional Italian food in a nice Italian neighborhood. With only onstreet parking, La Tavola's neighbors may not like them as mcuh as we do.
