Knock-out fish and French staples at this nautically-themed Brasserie. A word of warning: the tables are claustrophobically close to one another.
Sometimes classic French food hits the spot and La Voile was spot on. Everyone in our group of four loved everything we ordered. The sauces were outstanding. Contrary to other reviews service was excellent and not snooty in anyway--all servers were friendly, very responsive, and helpful.
Authentic provence experience. The owners picked up and moved from Cannes -they are friendly, knowledgable and their food is perfect. Whole dover sole, boned table side, boulllaibase as good as it gets this side of the Atlantic.
Excellent menu - short and to the point. Serivce started out good and went downhill to the point of rude...;switched waiters mid-way through meal, didn't ask if we'd like anything further, slid the bill under the elbow without a word or request for check. If they wanted the table for the next customer they shouldn't have seated us in the first place. We wouldn't go here again unless we needed to have our evening wrecked
Outstanding food; knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive French servers. Extensive wine list, many very reasonably priced. One of the best meals I've had. Try the foie gras sampler appetizer to share. Worth a trip to Boston--I will definitely return.
