I hadn't been there post-Katrina and was unpleasantly surprised! Service was poor! Waitress was rude...she actually stared me down when I asked her to move a dirty rag and spray bottle, which I was afraid might fall, from a narrow divider directly above our table. Corn & crab bisque was soured...sent back. Fried oysters and shrimp were unremarkable. I was embarassed that I had brought guests.
Go for the burgers, not for the decor. Looks more like a bar than a restaurant, but the burger is one of the best on the lake side of Port of Call. The wait can be a little long, but the grub is worth the wait. Kid-friendly and relatively inexpensive.
Neighborhood place. Typical N.O. Joint. love it.
too expensive
Food is okay. Menu needs to be revamped, its getting stale and predictable.
