I found a Real Great Restaurant with Real Fine Food. The Service was süperb. On my Last Visit I travelled Alone and After a Short Time at the the nice Bar i got my table on a nice Spot. The Price is really valuable. Try the Salad Out of the spinning Bowl...
We went for lunch, it took 20 minutes to get soup after we ordered it, then a full 35 minutes to get prime rib sandwiches and salads, so service left a lot to be desired. Prime rib is delicious, but not worth the wait.
There are a lot of steak houses in Chicago by Lawry's is the best value for the money. Most reviews of Chicago steak houses catagorize as requiring an expense account and that may be true but prices are lower for someone who wants to splurge a bit on a special occasion. Not just prime rib but some seafood and even a vegetarian dish. Definitely a great choice for a larger group with varied culinary desires.
The only place to get consistently great prime rib in the city.
The place for prime rib. And the setting is a beautiful old mansion.
