We were a party of four for a 9PM seating which was honored immediately. Our first wine choice had sold out, but a suitable alternative was offered. The food was excellent, service was a bit slower than we would have liked - especially given the late hour. The noise level was a bit high, but not annoying.

My wife was so excited to go. Getting to the front door just realize it was too narrow for a normal chair and had a large step that keeps a wheelchair from entering. Clearly there is an enormous amount of technique demonstrated by the preparation of the dishes. Unfortunately the seasoning and spicing was uneven on several dishes. The livers, sweetbreads, port belly and steak were wonderful. The kale salad had no zing, and craves for some acid, seasoning and spicing. The marrow was tasteless coagulated fat. Please caramelize with intense heat and work out seasoning and spicing. Glad I went but can't recommend.
Tiny restaurant in Westport. Silverware kept in a centerpiece filled with beans (?). Large diverse menu with items indicative of a kitchen out to impress. Overall food is good; foie gras and sweet breads were overcooked, but pork belly was tender (though barbecue flavor not the best choice) and lamb tongue was excellent. Burger was great and cornbread dessert was satisfying. Staff seemed to be listening in on our conversation. Good if overrated.
Indifferent service and poor setting (too noisy for conversation) more than offset the quality of the food (which was very well conceived and well executed), not going back nor recommending to friends.
