The absolute WORST Experience!!! The maître d' was beyond "rude and obnoxious ". We came for a nice brunch; the maître said it would be a short wait. After 30 mins, we went up twice -,both times we were told we would be next. Both times he gave the table of 4 away. Instead of apologizing - he was "belligerent" to my wife and daughters! Totally inexcuseable!,
The restaurant manager and The bartender came and apologize! But that only made
This place has potential. Food and service good but not yet great (as compared to other places in Bay Area). Desserts were very good, honored the French tradition very well (a flourless "molten lava" chocolate cake was a big hit). Wait staff needs to be a little more engaging, even by French standards (where they tend to be more laid back). All in all, though, a good experience in a creative setting.
Good traditional French cooking, young French waiters and atmosphere almost makes you feel like you are in France. Deserts not up to high standards of main courses.
wonderful place to sit outside when the weather permits, food is very fresh and a great place to run into friends, parking can be tricky at lunch time, wonderful casual setting
Great little place that I am looking forward to trying again.
