If you can't afford the trip to Beirut, go to Le Sajj!
We went on Saturday last week and the wonderful owner, Marwan, took care of us personally - presenting us with the most beautiful table of food, drinks and hookah. My boyfriend is Lebanese, born and raised in Beirut, and all his friends and he ONLY DINE HERE for authentic Lebanese food and hospitality.Published January 19, 2012 -
The dining experience here is the equivalent to a quick getaway to Beirut. The food is superb - made from fresh, authentic Lebanese ingredients, and prepared by a Lebanese chef with 20 years experience in the cuisine. The staff is professional and pleasant, and the space immaculate. Definitely the best place to be on a saturday night, when a live band and belly dancer perform. Great for intimate gatherings midweek too! Must reserve it fills fast

Le Sajj - Superb, authentic Lebanese cuisine. After just returning from Beirut, my husband and I craved the taste of Lebanese food. I couldn't believe what a fine restaurant we found in Brooklyn. We had about 12 of the dishes on the menu, all were fantastic, very delectable and cultured. Hospitality and service was a 10 !
