Lovely harbor setting with beautiful views. Food is pretty good, some real nice, other ordinary.
Not the Leons I went to in the 70-80. The food is Horrible, The service Horrible ,The VIEW of New Haven Harbor is nice. This Restaurant SHOULD be closing soon.
This place is okay, nothing special, they have a water view but you also view factories and other unattractive visuals, the food is just the standard fare. If you're in the area and someone suggested Leon's, try Sage instead, same price, same view, much better service, decor, and food there. IHowever, if you love looking at smoke stacks and smelling fish, Leon's is the place for you.
The only thing this place has going for it is an incredible view of the harbor. Food is OK, noise level is impossible and the front desk is confused. So go during the day if you must.
Not the Leons it used to be either in Hamden or New Haven (even thogh neighborhood in New Haven was not that safe, no one cared because the foosd was good. My client Frank Sinatra loved the OLD Leon's whenerver he was in town, They never should have moved, People will go aywhere for good food.
