Lovely, warm decor and a charming terrace on the marina. Valet parking. Some tables can feel cramped, especially the row of 2 person tables. Food is very nice. One of the few exceptions in Greenwich where the high price may be justified. I've had meats & fish here, and have tried most things on the menu. You can't go wrong with anything. The bar is a true middle-aged meat bar and quite popular after office hours. Bizarrely, service is horrendous.
We were there for lunch on a Sunday. We frequent the restaurant. The food is great--perfectly prepared. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable bartender. We typically always eat in the bar. In the past month the service has been very poor. One waitress for the entire bar area and not a good one, at that. In fact, over the long term, service has been inconsistent--not up to the otherwise fine standards of this restaurant
New Year's Eve and we loved it! Ate early, but the food was deicious, with perfect presentation and portions, and excellently serviced. Decor, though low-key, was just right (I loved the chandeliers.) All in all - a perfect score - except that it was a bit pricey. The cost above reflects one appetizer, entre, dessert and coffee each, but no drinks.
Over rated and over priced. The food was good, served by friendly waiters (no attitude) but not ready for prime time.
Like other people say the food is unique, exquisite, to die for,,,,, but the service to the clients given by the waiters and cocktail waitress is just a joke, a horror, is to cry for,,,there is no service in this restaurant,, once i was there for lunch, with my friends from england, we order a couple of appettizer to start up ,,,but i would never imagen that our waiter would start treating us as if we were an peasants,,, he would never give us
