Michael hosted a beautiful dinner for our family and friends the evening before our wedding followed by a cocktail party in the back patio. The food was amazing and the cocktail party was a huge success! Everyone we worked with at l'etoile was wonderful and it made the entire experience amazingly memorable.
We would recommend it to anyone!

Fine dining on Vineyard. Lobster Etoufe (sp) is a memorable dish worth returning for - if you save your pennies. This is an expensive restaurant using fresh ingredients in the best ways possible. A special occasion, a family reunion, a romantic dinner. Superb chef and amazingly attentive but unobtrusive wait staff.

Comparable in price to other reputable establishments in Edgartown, but far superior in quality. Fate had my dinner guest and I meet a man as we waited in the foyer for our table who (strongly) suggested we order the foie gras. We took his advice and were rewarded richly. Butter poached lobster with handmade parpadelle, lamb chops with truffled gnocchi, all heavenly.

What a joy to eat with a chef who clearly loves food. Everything we tasted was delicious, and we'd return in a heartbeat. We especially appreciated the casual/accepting staff, having shown up in Edgartown for the day in shorts. For dinner - no pants, no problem.

A MOST PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AS LONG AS SOMEONE ELSE IS PAYING. IT IS ATTRACTIVE, QUIET, THE FOOD IS MARVELOUS, THE RESTAURANT WELL MANAGED AND FRIENDLY. THE PROBLEM IS TO AFFORD COMING BACK.
