Amazing pastrami !! Great pickles and fries as well

I don't live anywhere near Lido Kosher. I go there because they have big juicy sandwiches of warm corned beef, pastrami and tongue heaped on excellent rye bread that are accompanied by large bowls of tasty Cole slaw, sour and half sour pickles. To top that off, everything is served by an amicable staff so it's worth the long commute. I make the pilgrimage as if I was going to Mecca.

Old-style kosher deli at its best. Amazing food and huge portions make for a memorable take-home meal. Cole slaw and pickles given before the meal. Their sandwiches are loaded with meat. Great dinners including delicious, huge stuffed cabbage. I recommend their home-made knishes, including apple. They also have an interesting line of specialty sandwiches, including combinations of just about every kind of meat on the menu.

Like the New York delis of years gone by...in decor, ambience, service and selection. If you are in the Long Beach area and crave deli there is absolutely no reason to look anywhere else. Food is tasty and fresh, sandwiches overstuffed and the fixin's delightful. These days it is getting harder and harder to happen upon a real deli and Lido's Kosher Deli is the real deal!
