I try to get something different each time I go. But I keep going back for the lengua tacos. If you can just not freak out about it being tongue and just sit back and enjoy the flavor of the meat you would love it. The carnitas are my second favorite but it can't beat the tongue tacos. Please people, expand your horizons and just try one!
A converted pizza place, with a "coffee shop, mexican style" motif. The food is excellent, and the one time I got table service, the service was very good. I usually go in, order, and take the food to go. The staff is very friendly and the food is ready very quickly.
Little Mexico is run by Mexican expatriates who really know how to cook. I spent many summers in central Mexico, mostly at 7000 ft. altitudes around Taxco, and the food is better on Long Island, but with a much higher standard of cleanliness, and better tasting food because the ingredients are better, too. Best rice and beans anywhere.Order anything on the menu. It's ALL good, and it's only 2 blocks from my house. What a find, and what luck, too!
Little Mexico is the best Mexican food I have had on Long Island. I had been on the lookout for Mexican place that reminds me of home since I moved to Long Island from So Cal nearly 2 1/2 years ago and Little Mexico is it. The food is delicious! I have had enchiladas, tortilla soup, fajitas, carne asada/carnitas tacos, and more. The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. I only wish they used a heat lamp to warm the tortilla chips.
Wonderful place i heard about through a local paper for having the best tacos in long island. Food is fresh and it goes from authentic to traditional you can have a beer or sangria. They have the best tamales and tortilla soup. Love that they are really clean
