Perhaps the best Lobby restaurant in all of Chicago. The service is unmatched at any hotel restaurent and the opulent room with 30 ft floor to ceiling windows sets the stage for a fabulous meal. More casual than Avenues, the 4 star restaurant also in the peninsula, but a great spot for post-theatre meals. Quiet and sophisticated. Through-the-roof prices make this one of the most expensive hotel meals in the city--but as usual with the Peninsula, well worth the splurge.

This is one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. We really think that they set the example of 5 star food, service and decor. The food is so unique, all the employees so affable and willing to serve and make you happy, the most nice live music, the most elegand decor, the most extensive and delecious dessert bar you could ever see. Just Superb!!!!!

What a fantastic setting! Elegant and relaxed, service was extraordinary. The food was simply scrumptious. It was bit pricey but when you combine the ambiance, excellent quality of the food and exceptional service it was worth every penny.

lOUNGE WAS LIVELY AND FUN, DINING ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE AND PLEASING,SERVER WAS COLD, BORED,AND A COULD CARE LESS FEELING. FOOD WAS EXQUISITE BUT PORTIONS LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED. WE LEFT FEELING WE DID NOT GET OUR MONIES WORTH.

Walk into the Lobby restaurant at the Peninsula Hotel and you feel as if all eyes are on you. The expansive space is overwhelming, and there is nothing left to the imagination. The food however is good, and the Lobby's high tea, popular with many, tends to be consistenly good.
