A very memorable upscale meal. The pulled osso bucco over marrow-crusted sturgeon was recommended, and it was rich and fabulous. Boyfriend had some kind of "pork temple" with short rib and bacon and he was very satisfied. Service was great and the restaurant/lobby are a sight to be seen.
Service was very attentive and impeccable. Started off with the mushroom soup. My entree was the Florida Red Grouper that came with Salssify, black trumpet mushroom and lobster sauce. The grouper was delicious, and as good as any I ate while in Florida. We then shared the Meyer Lemon Creme Brulee, which came with a wedge of sesame shortbread. A nice "special occasion" place.
Great hotel restaurant
Now that Foss is gone, who cares?
too bad it's lost in the Palmer House. Hotel Restaurants are tough for me, overpriced, captive audience but the food was good. Very dark
