What a find! Scrumptious dishes minus the steaks--which are always on the tough side. The pasta are well executed; sauces aren't too heavy but heavy on flavor. Ethereal desserts and an inviting patio in the back. This is the best Italian in New Haven.
Gets our vote for best Italian in the city of New Haven. Dining on the delighful Patio is wonderful in season.
Consistently good; fabulous in the summer when you can dine in the garden.
Overpriced and over-rated. Food is mediocre at best. Last time I was there, 2 of 3 at our table had to send back inedible dishes....and we're a low-maintenance crew. Good gelatos, though!
In summer the garden is a must!........Never know you are minutes from downtown New Haven and the Turnpike entrance.
