Cozy, intimate spot, BYo, street parking. We stopped in for lunch at noon on Saturday, not crowded at all at that time. We tried the guacamole that was really excellent, then some veggie taco (with the namesake ingredient, cactus) and chicken enchiladas that were very good. Service fine, decor is minimal and fine. I'd stop in again to try some more elaborate dinner dishes.

Excellent Mexican food, better than average

This place is cozy and bright. Ceviche was flavorful and my friend's enchiladas looked good without being drowned in cheese. They were accommodating when we added another guest late in the meal, but service seemed slow overall, and we had to wait even though we had a reservation.

excellent Mexican restaurant - upscale type food at down scaled prices....husband/owner is chef and his wife sometimes works the restaurant..nice folks......best Mexican type food I've had in CHI so far.....

Lincoln Square BYOB with excellent quality food for an extremely fair price. Their guacamole is the best I've had and the skirt steak is consistently delicious! Bring a jug of margaritas and they supply the salt and limes! The owners are always attentive and friendly with service!
