Much better than average Mexican food. Ceviche, salas and guacamole are first rate. Friendly family run staff, but not nearly enough of 'em: the place has terrible service! And what good is a Mexican joint without a margarita?!?

What a find - Authentic Mexican hole in the wall - BYOB.
Great salads with cactus leaves (los nopales) appetizers, tender and very tasty steak and seafood dishes. Home cooked atmosphere, with absence of fluorescent lights makes this a great night out spot for tasty food. Unpolished service, but water glasses were always full and service was always with a smile.Published May 29, 2008 -
BYOB. The food is fantastic. So inexpensive and yet so utterly delicious! Clearly a family run place (young girl is there handing out menus on occasion) and that is part of its charm. It's one of those places that doesn't look like much on the outside but once you're inside and have some food on your table, you'll be glad you went inside.

Family owned wonderful authentic mexican restaurant. The husband makes the guacamole and salsa fresh when you order it. They are very sweet and everything I have tried is wonderful. I am always on the search for a good mexican restaurant and rate them on their salsa (if it's fabulous...so is the food usually) and Los Nopales is fresh and good. It is also BYOB.
