Great lunch right on the water.
Had a late lunch by myself, the service was nice and the conch chowder the best so far. Excited, I took my girlfriends another day at 1 and we were told an hour wait and only 6 tables were filled. A little bit of attitude by the hostess and when we were seated, the restaurant was only 1/2 full (waiting for the "rush of reservations" that never came). Food ok this time. Spinach salad with bacon and currant dressing was nice. Off hours are best.
Hidden off the beat and path. Lovely view of the ocean. Food is very good! Pricey!Fun times in Key West.

worth the money though. We live in Key West and I would rank Louie's in my top 6.
Beautiful setting. Sunday brunch was great, but on dinner scallops weren't fresh and the fried kale served with sweetbreads was rubbery and bitter enough to strongly detract from the dish (joke from diner was that maybe it was really fried kelp).
This was the worst dining experience of my life. And I have been to some bad dives in my time. A group of 4 of us arrived to have brunch. We got there at 11 and were told at the door that they started serving at 11:30. We understood and asked the greater if we could get a beverage at the bar.
