Absolutely beautiful space- so open and elegant. Excellent for functions/private events. A bit pricey, but well worth it for the quality of meat, produce, and pasta. Innovative libations, super hospitable staff.

What a bustling but elegant restaurant! The staff was friendly and easy to work with. The food was straight ahead - good - enjoyable to eat - not unexciting but not memorable either. The sweet potato gnocchi was outstanding under the pork shank, but the meat was just ok. Enjoyed the dinner but would like to try other entrees.

Good food but inconsistent - salmon came out raw in the middle once. Decent atmosphere but can be a little overcrowded. There are better options in the area but you could do worse.

Both appetizers and entres are excellent. Service is attentive without being intrusive. I rate Lucca Back Bay every bit as good as Lucca North End and Sorellina nearby in Copley Square.
