Good occasionally great food. Starter of in house prepared charcuterie was brilliant. Pasta dish with duck confit a bit dry, coulotte of Wagyu beef very good as was Olive cake as dessert. Wine starting at around 40$ a bottle is a bit overpriced. Overall a good if not stellar dining experience.
Good but not great by all means. Clearly it was disappointing based on the stellar reviews from friends and all media. While i did not expect Italy or NY, it was mediocre relative to those venues.
This is probably the best restaurant in Dallas now. Its not classic Italian food but they call it Italian. Cuisine is very inventive in an ever changing menu. Reservations are hopeless; you've got to call literally weeeks in advance. The place is smal
"It takes a month or more to get in the restaurant, and you may get called on a moment's notice from the wait list to do it. The spectacularly executed, although not fancy, food makes it worth the effort. Good wine selection too."
