My family and I have been going to the Lucky Duck for years, and we've consistently enjoyed it. Sure everyone once in awhile something doesn't come out right, but politely tell your server and they'll take care of it. The service is good, nothing incredible but nothing terrible. Great place to go for family events, and the "pizza" bread is quite good. 9/10 times we all have a great dining experience here.

First of all, this restuarant is in Garden City South NOT Garden City Park - close by but different community - please get it right! Second, it is Italian, not Chinese as many people think because of the name. Third, it is a great local family friendly restaurant with excellent food, friendly service and you don't have to take out a loan to eat there.

I didn't think it was possible to get bad Italian food on Long Island or in southern NY period, however, I found the impossible. I think what I ate was actually Pasta Roni with the leftover vegtables stolen from the fried rice in the Chinese restaurant across the street. The sad thing is, my boyfriend and I wasted $60 on the crap, and an hour and a half of our life. The dust settled faster than the service. We waited 25 minutes just for the bill.

The food is consistantly great! The service is consistantly great! The decor is ordinary but the overall atmosphere is very comfortable. Every time we come to this restaurant we are glad we did. I would love to read what Zagat thinks!

We eat in as many of your top rated restaurants as possible, however when we want a good meal at reasonable prices. We revisit The Lucky Duck. Their stuffed flounder is as good a meal as I have ever been served and the prices are reasonable. I think I have ordered everything on their Menu and have never been disappointed. The decor is a bit old fashioned but their is nothing wrong with that.
