We visited Luc's on a Friday night and found it slow. Customers seemed pretty much what you would expect in Ridgefield. Did'nt find the owner particularly welcoming, but the staff was. The cafe itself is not exactly quiet. Not a great date place.
Food was okay. Mediocre described it well previously. Hanger steak was bland and a hand full of fries on the side was a bit sparse.
Wine was good. Service was very good. I don't understand the raves.
The food was good but not great. The service was good. The two worsts thingsa are the noise and it is far too crowded. You feel as if the people at the next table are dining with you since there so close.
Excellent service. Really good, consistent & authentic French food. Interesting specials. Reasonable prices & good wine list.
great upscale french bistro
so have been to Luc's about a 100 times now. it remains a cozy French bistro with great food, atmosphere, service and value. in the past year or so a new chef and a tweaked menu. really do not want to promote it too much as you wait long enough already on a Fri/Sat night for a table for two. hint: find another couple as reservations are taken for 4 or more. added bonus: Keith Richards is a regular. who doesn't love the Stone's? délicieux Herve!
